Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Sarkodie, AKA, Fally Ipupa Nominated For BET Awards 2015

The nominees for all the various categories of BET Awards 2015 have just been revealed, and as always, our interest firmly remains the African category. This year’s “Best International Act: Africa” sees 2 Nigerian acts – Wizkid and Yemi Alade – vying for the highly coveted award alongside Fally Ipupa (Congo), Sauti Sol (Kenya), Sarkodie (Ghana), AKA (South Africa), Stonebwoy (Ghana), and The Soil (South Africa).

The most notable omission is last year’s winner Davido who, some may say, has remained consistent with hits in recent months albeit not as dominating as the year before. That said, who’s your pick for Best African Act? Let us know your thoughts on the nominees as well as the Davido snub.
