Abuja comedian Chuks The General displayed his cluelessness at the recent Eargasm concert which took place on Sunday, July 26, at the ThisDay Dome Abuja. 

The event –hosted by OAP, Wale– featured performances by veteran artists, Sunny Nneji, Daniel Wilson and the legendary Victor Uwaifo.

However, the event was marred midway when Abuja comedian, Chuks The General, joked that the show was Tuface’s way of bringing some ‘forgotten’ artistes out of obscurity and career dearth.

Chuks also misaddressed Tuface’s wife, Annie Idibia, who was seated on of the VVIP tables; as he ‘jokingly’ thanked her marrying the ‘Enter The Place’ singer. He said but for Annie, Tuface would have been busy ‘increasing the population of Nigeria’.

This act did not sit well with the singers and Chuks was called off stage shortly after, following both jokes.

The comedian later returned, however, and apologized to those he had offended.

Daniel Wilson who sang his classics like ‘Ragamuffin’, ‘Original Bad Boy’ and ‘Abortion’, told Chuks there was no need to issue any apologies.

Sunny Nneji was live as his band brought the audience at The Dome to their feet while; ‘Professor Sir Victor Uwaifo’ proved that at 75 he was nowhere near done. The ‘Joromi’ maestro ended his set with 80 press ups.

There was also a surprise performance by Olu Maintain who addressed Chuks’s fooling around, an act he called the ‘disrespect of legends’.

Other acts at the gig include Niyiola, Yung6ix and comedian, Osama.

Tuface’s mother was also present at Eargasm.

According to Efe Omoregbe, Tuface’s publicist, Eargasm was put together to band fans and music lovers from different generations so as to create a thrilling ambience of fun and classic African music.
