Breaking: APC Vice Chairman Resigns

Malam Musa Adamu, the Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi state, has resigned.

According to Adamu, who is the zonal vice chairman of APC for Bauchi South senatorial district, his decision to resign was because he wanted to protect his image, honour and dignity, NAN reports.

Announcing his resignation at a news briefing on Friday, September 11, in Bauchi, he said the party lacked good leadership in the state and most of its card carrying members and the generality of sympathisers have lost confidence in them.

Adamu accused the APC leadership in the state of “unethical behaviours” which he said were in conflict with the political ideology and philosophy of the party’s apex leader President Muhammadu Buhari.
