An extreme sports athlete does the unbelievable base jump – just to test his friends’ flying skills.

Base jumper Graham Dickinson made a nearly-suicidal base jump in his wing suit.

He claims that he just wanted to test some aggressive flying skills of his friend Dario Zanon trying to shake him off, but he managed to capture the dangerous flight on camera, dodging trees and rocks. The speed of the flight was comparable with the speed of a propeller-driven airсraft.

Another dangerous thing in such flight is catching burble – a separation in the boundary layer of air about a moving streamlined body, causing a breakdown in the smooth flow and resulting in turbulence.

 

“Thank you Dario for your magnificent filming skills,” told Graham Dickinson under his insane video posted on his YouTube channel.

Two year ago a record-breaking skydiver, Felix Baumgartner backed by a team of world-leading scientists, took a stratospheric balloon flight to 120,000 feet/36,576 meters above the Earth’s surface and jumped landing successfully.
