In modern dating, many people say anything goes. But there are some things that are termed old fashioned that still stand today. Dating rules like a man should be the one asking a woman he likes out and not the other way around.

 

As  much as this rule still stands, women around the world are getting bold enough to approach a guy they like a lot and don't see anything wrong with expressing what they feel.

According to relationship expert and life coach Marie Dubuque, it's improper for a woman to ask a guy out. She maintained that the old-fashioned trend is the way to go for any girl who likes a guy. This means waiting for him to state his intentions.

 

"No! Do not ask him out. Call me old fashioned, but if he wants to ask you out, he will, not matter how shy he is. Give him a set amount of time, whatever you decide that is, then distance yourself. Be nice and polite, but then it's time to move on. Talk to other people. Let him know subtly that you are not going to wait around for him!" Dubuque said.
