Nigerians React To Fashola’s Portfolio (PHOTO)

The highly anticipated inauguration of ministers has come and gone with the suspense worth the wait. President Muhammadu Buhari stunned many with what some have termed a tactical team selection.

President Muhammadu Buhari, gave the nation a shocker with the posts designated to his ministers. Many say he has handed Babatunde Raji Fashola the biggest task in his cabinet.

Very few can say they predicted the portfolio of the minister as assigned by President Buhari.

From all indication and positions assigned by the president, the ministries allotted to former Lagos state governor- Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), tends to be the talking point of the day, as he was handed the mandate of overseeing the affairs of three key ministries.

Fashola was chosen to serve in the capacity of Minister for Power, Works and Housing; areas which the Nigerian masses deem unarguably as the most important.

It is to this effect that many Nigerians have reacted to the portfolio of the brilliant advocate, some hailing him as the proverbial “three-in-one man”.

The ex-governor of Lagos state has been trained solely as a Lawyer, but has been chosen to serve in capacities outside the boundaries of law and jurisprudence. Still, Nigerians tend to believe that he will serve very well, and this believe is not far founded from the fact that he did an excellent while serving as governor of Nigeria’s most populous state.
