Bishop Emmah Isong, the founder of Christian Central Chapel in Calabar, has dismissed the belief that President Muhammadu Buhari has the capacity to effect resounding changes in Nigeria, All Africa reports.

Bishop Isong speaking in Calabar, on Tuesday, November 11, said: “The belief that Buhari was coming to change Nigeria in its totality was incorrect as that is not what God brought him to do this time around.

Similarly, God did not bring President Buhari as Nigeria’s messiah.  Buhari has only come as a class prefect to ensure that there is no noise in the class; just to sanitize the polity after which he leaves the stage.”

The International President of Association of God’s Servants, argued that both Buhari and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are not prepared to govern the country.

Meanwhile, Reverend Chris Okotie, the general overseer of Household of God church has said that former president Goodluck Jonathan would not have contested in the 2015 presidential election but was swayed to contest by the false prophecy of Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Okotie said this during a sermon on Sunday, October 25 in his church in Lagos. He said the president of CAN falsely prophesied that Jonathan would win the election convincingly which was why Jonathan went along to contest in the election which he eventually lost to Muhammadu Buhari.
