#BayelsaDecides: Thugs Storm Dickson’s Sagbama Area
As the people of Bayelsa continue to cast their ballot at the ongoing gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa, unknown gunmen have stormed Dickson’s home town in Sagbama local government area and allegedly chased away supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Nation reports that the voting exercise at unit 3, 2 and 1 at Toru-Orua community has been marred with violence.

A supporter was alleged to have been beaten to coma at Dickson’s unit 4, ward 2 where card reader has started working.
Thugs were reported to have taken centre-stage thereby threatening the security of the entire process in the area.
Security agents looked helpless as they continue to make efforts to restore normalcy at the four units.
Elsewhere, violence was also reported at Okpoama and Eweama communities of Brass local government where Austin Adigio, the Special Adviser to the Bayelsa state governor on Inter-Party Matters, and three other members were seriously injured with machetes ahead of the Saturday governorship election.
PMnews reports that the deputy ward chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 1 in Odi Local Government Area of the state, Diseye Dickson, was shot dead on Wednesday December 2, by unidentified gunmen who were reportedly dressed in military uniform at about 11pm.
