Black Friday: Nigerians 'change it' for Jumia on Twitter

The day was meant to give shoppers the opportunity to get great discounts on their favourite items but Nigerians - observant as ever - located some allleged 'magomago' going on on some of the sites.

All the hype and noise about Black Friday has died down now, but some people are still hurting from their disappointments on the day.

The day was meant to give shoppers the opportunity to get great discounts on their favourite items but Nigerians - observant as ever – somehow located some alleged 'magomago' going on, on some of the sites – and they went hard (spartan style) at these platforms on Twitter.

Last year, something very similar also played out after Black Friday sales left some consumers angry at the sites that crashed, never delivered their orders, amongst other things.

The ecommerce giant taking the flack this time is Jumia. Nigerians took to Twitter to express their displeasure at the popular platform, with various allegations leveled at it. See the tweets below:
