Obasanjo, Mahama: African leaders fight dirty in London over GEJ's campaign

There are reports that all is not well between former Nigerian president, Olusegun Obasanjo and Ghanaian President, John Mahama.

According to a report by The Whistle, the two African leaders allegedly threw caution into the air in London during the African Investment Forum in Westminister.

The report further claimed that the Ghanaian President allegedly called the Nigerian ex-President an idiot and a stupid buffoon.

The fracas allegedly began when Obasanjo had openly accused the Ghanaian President and his government of financially contributing $12m to Goodluck Jonathan’s political campaign in the last presidential elections.

Baba Iyabo was further alleged to have accused President Mahama of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa.

Reports further revealed that it took the maturity of the Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni to calm down frayed nerves before ushering President Mahama out of Obasanjo's sight.
