Club sandwich is a snack served in many leisure centres, seminars and conferences. Even as breakfast at home. It can also be served as snacks in the lunch boxes of the kids to take to school instead of the sweet junks. Making sandwich with bread makes bread a lot more interesting. The easiest and fastest ways of preparing it, makes it a meal at go, on the move with no hassle.
The combination of lettuce in sandwich gives it a lovely crunchy juicy taste. Lettuce can be eaten raw which has many micronutrients not found in cooked or processed vegetables. It is one of the few foods which can be found organic and prewashed already in the supermarkets and trays .It is also displayed on the wheel borrows for you to eat immediately gratitude to people from the Northern part of Nigeria (Hausa). Ingredients:
– Cooked or fried chicken, turkey or bacon
– Lettuce leaves
– Sliced tomatoes
– Sliced cucumber
– Little mayonnaise
– Slices bread or toasted bread
Direction:
1. Wash the lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes. Cut of the root of the lettuce. Ensure that the lettuce is not soaked so as to retain its crunchiness.
2. Lay a little bit of lettuce cucumber, tomatoes, bacon and the chicken in between the 2 sliced of toasted bread.
3. Add little mayonnaise to give a creamy taste.
4. You can cut into slices of rectangle or triangle shapes and hold together with a toothpick.
