– The new monarch who is 15-year-old became the king following the gruesome murdered of his father, the former king of the kingdom
History was made in Ubulu-Uku community in Aniocha South local government as a 15-year-old teenage was crowned the traditional ruler of the community.
15 year crowned king
The new king is replacing his father, Obi Akaeze Edward Ofulue III, who was gruesomely murdered by yet to ascertain gunmen who had earlier kidnapped him.

The monarch who be addressed as Akaeze I, was presented to the council of elders on Friday, February 19, at the palace after he fulfilled various rites. Upon his successful crowning, the king was firstly presented to his family before his public presentation.
At the public presentation was a member representing Aniocha/Oshimili constituency at the House of Representatibe, Onyemechi Mrakpor, chairman of Aniocha South local government area, Isaac Anwuzia, president-general of Ubulu-Uku Development Union, Comrade Jones Ofunne and other dignitaries.

Others that graced the occasion were traditional chiefs and title holder in the kingdom, market womem, youths and other stakeholders in the community.
The king will be presented with his staff of office soon, The Herald reports.
Meanwhile, trouble within the Ohaneze Ndigbo seems to have extended to other leadership spheres as the Olubadan-in-council has declared the title of Eze Ndigbo of Igbos in Ibadan and Oyo as illegal.
In a letter signed by one Oladepo Abiodun Esq and addressed to the president general of Ohaneze Ndigbo, it described the attempt to hold the title as divisive.
