Lewis Hamilton paid homage to the culture of Bahrain by rocking a long dress while arriving for the Grand Prix
He is known to be one of the most stylish sportsmen in the world and Lewis Hamilton paid homage to the culture of Bahrain in a very fashionable way.
Bahrain was hosting the Grand Prix over the weekend which was won by Nico Rosberg.
He arrived at the Sakhir circuit in fashionable in an attire which is worn by the locals.
“Nothing but love and respect for this culture and Bahrain!! Feeling loyal,” he tweeted along with a photo of himself wearing a traditional white thobe (a long-sleeved robe).
He however lost the Bahrain Grand Prix to Nico Rosberg after suffering from early accident on Sunday, April 3.
The English driver was outpaced by his Mercedes team-mate to the first corner who pulled away after Valtteri Bottas' Williams clashed with him (Hamilton).
He finished seventh in the race.
Hamilton will look to bounce back from another disappointing weekend at the Chinese Grand Prix in two weeks' time, the Briton having won four times there including the last two races.
