Nigeria beat Burundi in Bujumbura

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have begun their quest for the qualification for 2017 u-20 Cup of Nations on a spectacular fashion. The team defeated their Burundian counterparts 1 – 0 in Bujumbura.

The Emmanuel Amuneke-tutored side defeated the Young Swallows to take a giant step in a bid to qualify for the u-20 championship billed for Zambia in 2017.

Agor Chukwudi’s 64th minute strike gave Nigeria the all-important win at the Louis Rwagasore Stadium, Bujumbura.
