In a picture which was shared on her Instagram page on Saturday, May 27, 2016, she wrote, "A year has gone in a blink. Matthew kenney-Chinedu Rodriguez. I Can't believe today you are one. Feliz Cumpleanòs hijo Your smile is sunshine! Your laugh is contagious! Your energy is something else! (I wonder where you got that from)Your hugs melt my heart! Your kisses are the sweetest!"

Uche Jombo Rodriguez got married to her man, Kenny Rodriguez in 2012 and they both welcomed Matthew in May 2015.
