Amodu Shuaibu: Ex-Eagles coach buried amid tears
Family members and neighbours could not hold back tears as they wept uncontrollably, report said.
The late former Super Eagles Coach, Amodu Shuaibu has been buried at his residence in Okpella, Etsako –East local government area of Edo.
Amodu's body was said to have arrived Okpella from Benin at about 12.30 pm and was brought to the inner chambers of his house at about 5.07 pm for burial according to Islamic rites.
It was gathered that ahead of the arrival of his corpse, family members, neighbours, journalists and residents of Okpella had gathered in the late Amodu’s compound discussing his sudden passage.
Family members and neighbours could not hold back tears as they wept uncontrollably, report said.
It was reported that the deceased's mother, who had earlier been taken to the palace of the Okuokpellagbe of Okpella, Alhaji A.Y.E. Dirisu, was returned to the compound around 4.00pm after had been informed of her son’s death.

Amodu died on Friday, June 10, in his sleep after complaining of chest pain, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) said announced on Saturday.
Until his death, he was the NFF Technical Director.
