– The decamping was reportedly caused by the PDP division in three factions
Tony Nwoye from Anambra state and Udende Emmanuel from Benue state, both members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the House of Representatives have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday, June 2.

However, Mr. Dogara stressed that there was no need to discuss the matter of the PDP arrangement as it would be handled at the national level.
Earlier this week Tony Nwoye, a former governorship candidate in Anambra state, has disclosed his plans of defection to the ruling party.
He said: “I am no longer satisfied with what is happening in PDP. I no longer have anything to do with the party and I will soon officially declare for APC. I won’t force my followers to follow me, but they are free to join me in the movement to APC because politics is a matter of choice.”
Meanwhile, the PDP has issued a warning to those contemplating such move to be ready to lose their seats.
