Pogba’s agent breaks silence over Manchester United switch

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has spoken out again after reports the French midfielder has already had his Man Utd medical.

The agent has maintained that Manchester United are yet to agree a deal with Juventus for the French midfielder.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a world record move to Old Trafford. There have even reports that negotiations are so advanced that Pogba has already undergone a medical.

But agent Mino Raiola has confirmed United and Juventus are still discussing the terms of the proposed deal.

On Friday he tweeted: “Journalist = parrots. No deal done between clubs. It’s a game between Italy press and UK press who announce it first and who is worse.”

Jose Mourinho has made no secret of his desire to bring in a midfielder this summer. But he also hinted during the tour of China that he has other options if the move for Pogba stalls.

United have also been linked with PSG’s Blaise Matuidi, Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic and Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro.

Also, Pogba who is currently holidaying in the United States was approached by an optimistic United fan who happened to be wearing the new United No.6 shirt with Pogba’s name on the back of it.

The supporter asked Pogba to pose for a photograph, which he did, and the midfielder then agreed to sign the lad’s new shirt.
