Can courts in Lagos remand injured people in jail without ordering proper medical care first?

This was the case of Sewuese Matthew, who was battered by officials of the Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit, on Durosimi-Etti Drive, in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, for filming their rowdy operation. She was detained in a cell overnight, charged to court the next day and remanded in Kirikiri prison for another night until her bail conditions were met.
