Retired Exxon Mobil staff shares photo of his hand chopped off by kidnappers despite paying N5m ransom

Dr Idongesit Udom, a retired staff of ExxonMobil and the Proprietor of Sure Foundation Polytechnic, was kidnapped alongside two expatriates of the oil company from a hotel room in Eket on April 9th. He was released on May 10th after paying N5 million ransom. Giving an update on his Facebook page, Elder Udom shared the photo of his chopped hand and wrote; To God be the glory! I am alive
