My friend and sister, Dr Eniola Ajayi, the APC Candidate for Ekiti Central 1 Federal Constituency is currently under siege. ..On Gov Fayose's instruction, two truckloads of thugs and security men invaded her Ado Ekiti home this morning (Wednesday 25th March). When they didn't find her, they have sealed off her home.

Word on the streets is that Mr Governor has sworn that he must not lose any Federal Constituency to APC...especially his constituency which is Dr Ajayi ' s constituency too.

As we speak, Dr Ajayi is in hiding...fearing for her life...we cant reach her...and it is 3 days to elections...reports coming out of Ekiti indicates key leaders of opposition are being hounded...some already arrested..a replay of ‪#‎Ekitigate‬, #Ekitigate ...impunity on steroids!

I am sad...and very weary....Why must a mere election become a war? Why must contesting to serve be at the expense of one's life?

What kind of people are these? What manner of nation is ours? Who will save us from this madness? I pray my friend survives this onslaught... I feel so helpless...
