Blog Reader With Postpartum Amnesia Needs Help. Pls Read
Dearest Laila, you have been a blessing to me. I am a house wife for now and your blog keeps me entertained when the baby allows me time. I don't know if the mothers in the house and doctors can help!! I've a three months old baby, I'm ashamed to admit that I may have postpartum amnesia, because of late I've been really bad with remembering things, even the things glaring right at me. Like forgetting to turn off the water after taking a bath or washing, forgetting important appointments, the days and dates and recently initiating an already discussed topic over and over again. I was a bit worried until I read it's 'baby brain'. Last week my sister who stays with her hubby in Norway sent me some money to give our mummy for upkeep and I forgot and all hell was let lose. I am losing my mind. The recommendation (lots of sleep) in the article I read seemed more difficult than passing a camel through the eyes of a needle. Please can the mothers and doctors in the house tell me how to handle this? I'm scared it may get out of hand. I don't want to forget my baby in the car one day. #sobbing
