Gov. Ajimobi appoints 9ice as special adviser in Oyo

Top musician Abolore Akande, popularly known as 9ice, has been appointed as the Special Adviser to the governor of Oyo, Abiola Ajimobi, who is seeking a re-election on Saturday.

Akande joined All Progressives Congress (APC) and contested for the ticket of the party to represent Ogbomosho Federal Constituency but was defeated at the party primary.

His appointment was announced on Twitter, although, his primary assignment is yet unknown.
