Gunmen abduct woman driving kids to school in Aba

Is moving around no longer safe, a woman going to drop off her kids at school was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Aba, Abia state.

According to Vanguard, eyewitness said that the kidnappers used their vehicle to block the woman as she approached Road 8 junction, Federal Housing Estate, Ogbor Hill, and ordered her kids out of the car.

A resident of the area who declined to have his name on print lamented that gunmen attempted to kidnap the woman’s husband two weeks earlier, but he escaped by God’s grace.

It still unknown if the kidnappers had contacted the victim’s family.

Spokesman of the Abia state police command, Ezekiel Onyeke, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, could not be reached for comments.
