Fuse ODG Snubs BET Awards Because They Have “No Respect”
UK Afrobeats major proponent, Fuse ODG, took to twitter yesterday to reveal why he didn’t attend the BET Awards 2015 for which he was nominated in the Best International Act UK category, an award won by Stormzy. Instead, the “Antenna” singer made a surprise appearance last night at the BBC-organized Glastonbury 2015 Festival in England.
See his tweet below.
*O.O*
Dear @BET, the reason why I didn’t come is because you give our awards backstage! You have no respect for our hard work and achievements

Do you think fellow African acts should join Fuse ODG in boycotting the BET Awards? Or are we fighting a losing battle?
