Former Super Eagles Player Begs Nigerians To Give Oliseh A Chance
Jonathan Akpoborie, ex-Super Eagles player, has called on Nigerians to give Oliseh a chance as the Head Coach of the team.
Speaking to NAIJ.com from his Lagos base on Wednesday, the footballer turned pundit said it will not be much of a gamble if they allow him to carry out his duties.
He said: “Nigeria has no choice now. Nigerian football is at its lowest, so giving Oliseh a chance, is not too big a gamble.
“We cannot fall lower than we are today, so I am hoping he will bring his qualification into action as he takes his place as the coach.”

He said: “A coach is allowed to pick his own assistant, so I see no reason why he cannot bring a European to assist him. I wish him goodluck.”
Sunday Oliseh who was unveiled by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) last week in Abuja is yet to carry out his first official assignment as the Head Coach.
However, his first major task will be an away game with Tanzania for the ongoing campaign of the 2017 Cup of Nations which will take place in Gabon.
