Official Survey: 70% Of Nigerians Satisfied With Buhari’s First Month In Office
According to NOIpolls, about 70% of Nigerians are satisfied with the first 30 days of President Muhammadu Buhari’s performance in the office.
The June 2015 survey shows that 12% of the respondents disapproved of his job performance, while 18% were neutral.
Channels TV reports that Garba Shehu, senior special assistant on media an publicity, expressed confidence that 12% were negative about the president’s performance because it was too early to estimate evaluate him.

As far as those satisfied with Buhari’s past month are concerned, people mentioned the following reasons for approving his performance:
- security has improved (20%),
- Buhari has good intentions and he is good so far (16%),
- stability of electricity (15%).
The overwhelming majority of Nigerians claimed to have enjoyed power situation improvement in June, in comparison with the previous month.
In general, the high approval ratings indicate a high level of positive perception adult Nigerians have in the new president.
