Police in Bangladesh arrested a group of Islamist militants led and sponsored by a British citizen; the group is allegedly responsible for brutal murders of two atheist bloggers.

Law enforcement officials in Bangladesh arrested three suspected jihadists, including a Briton, who was the main planner and sponsor of the murder of two prominent atheist bloggers in the country.

“We’ve arrested them today and we can confirm that Touhidur Rahman, 58, is a Bangladesh-origin British citizen,” told the press Major Maksudul Alam, adding that “he is the main planner of the attacks on Avijit Roy and Ananta Bijoy Das.”

Roy, a US citizen of Bangladesh origin, and Das were prominent atheist bloggers hacked to death with machetes in the country where the majority of its 160 million population are Muslims.

Since the beginning of the year four secular bloggers have been brutally murdered in Bangladesh, the last victim is Niloy Chakrabarti who was hacked to death at his home on August 7.

The Nigerian man who changed into a woman, Stephanie Rose, recently took to her Facebook page again to share a post by an avowed atheist, Amenhotep Kingsagreed, where she thinks that God is the devil himself. She claims that the Bible is evidence that God is the devil.
