PDP Hails APC Governor’s Achievements

The Peoples Democratic Party in Kaduna state has commended Governor Nasir el-Rufai’s style of running government.

The governor who was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress received accolade from the PDP publicity secreatry, Mansur Ibrahim.

Ibrahim said el-Rufai has performed well so far as the governor of the state, Leadership reports.

He heaped praises on the governor for being radical and straightforward in his political initiatives.

The PDP scribe spoke on the recent sacked of permanent secretaries in the state saying is part of the process of re-structuring the state civil service. He added that the governor’s radical and political initiative is something which needs to be praised.

Ibrahim said: “The re-structuring in the ministries is very good and well thought of. We don’t need too many ministries at all, they were created because we are used to duplication of duties in order to misuse government funds. But dissolving them, am sure it will save a lot of cost in the state, and I pray that the saved cost would be used for human and infra structural development of the state.”

On non-commencement of projects in the state, the PDP spokesman said: “the public should not be too adamant because the Governor is more concerned about the repositioning governance of the state.
