Prostrating Civil Servants: Fayose’s Viral Photos Spark Reactions On Twitter

A report on Naij.com today chronicled the drama that played out in Ekiti state this morning as Governor Ayo Fayose lurked around the state secretariat to fish-out perpetual late comers in the state’s civil service. 

The governor showed up unexpectedly at the secretariat around 8.10am this morning in the company of the head of civil service in the state.

The images of the governor’s visit have found their way to various news sites and the issue is one of the trending topics on micro-blogging site, Twitter.

While some Nigerians have hailed the action of the governor, others think it is a publicity stunt, while some others have been commenting on the attitude of civil servants to work in Nigeria.
