What Buhari Must Do To Succeed – Gani Adams

Otunba (Dr) Gani Adams, the national coordinator, of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) has praised the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari on his anti-corruption programme.

He expressed confidence that if the federal government accelerated its implementation of zero tolerance programmme for corruption, fraud would be greatly reduced in the country.

The OPC leader revealed this on Wednesday, August 19, during a summit organized by Gani Adams Foundation to offer gift items to the less privileged in commemoration of this year’s United Nations World Humanitarian Day.

Adams in his speech entitled: “Improving the Living Condition of the Poor, Less Privileged and Physically Challenged During Crises in Nigeria”, advised the federal government to improve on infrastructure as this would make life and living easier for the people.

He said the call became necessary due to economic pressure, violent confrontations, unemployment, natural disasters and rising number of people displaced by the Boko Haram insurgents.

Adams urged Nigerians to assist the poor and oppressed members of the society, saying that the reason the foundation was established is to assist those in need.

Meanwhile the leadership of the pan-Yoruba organization, has urged the national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, not to associate with some expelled members of the group who are are allegedly desperate to oust Otunba Gani Adams as the President/National Coordinator of OPC.
