'Gotham': New trailer focuses on villains [Video]

A newly released 'Gotham' trailer centers on the supervillain group, which was introduced on show's Monday premiere episode.

The second season of 'Gotham' kicked off on Monday, September 21, 2015, with the episode titled 'Rise of the Villains.'

FOX has released a new trailer, which features clips from next week's episode titled 'Rise of the Villains: Knock, Knock.'

 

The trailer also centers on the  supervillain group introduced on show's Monday premiere episode.

The group which consists of Barbara (Erin Richards), Jerome (Cameron Monaghan) among others, was formed by billionaire Theo Galavan (James Frain) for the sole purpose of causing chaos in Gotham.

Gotham episode 2's synopsis reads;

On the heels of his reinstatement, Gordon is thrust onto the high-profile case tracking the deadly inmate escape from Arkham Asylum. Meanwhile, Galavan plans his next move, while Bruce enlists the help of his father’s old friend to unlock the secrets in his office, and Nygma asks out Kristin Kringle (guest-star Chelsea Spack) on a date.

'Gotham' stars Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, Erin Richards, David Mazouz, Camren Bicondova, Zabryna Guevara, Cory Michael Smith, Victoria Cartagena, Andrew Stewart Jones, and John Doman.
