In Nepal: Bomb blasts in two different churches on the same night

Two bombs have been reported to have exploded at two different churches in Jhapa district on Monday, September 14, 2015.
Three bombs were recorded to have been planted in 3 different churches but only two exploded, the third was discovered by the police, but detonated while they were trying to diffuse it.
Three police personnel were injured when a bomb exploded at Surunga Police Station in Surunga, Jhapa, this morning.
Police said that the bomb, originally planted at a local church at Surunga of Kankai Municipality-3, was being diffused at the police station when it suddenly exploded.
According to 'The Kathmandu Post' N.D. Thulung, Pastor of Jyoti church said the bomb thrown into the church had no casualties but severely damaged the the windows and the gate of the church.

The other bomb was planted at a church in Gauradaha, but it failed to detonate.
The blasts in the churches comes less than 24 hours after the Constituent Assembly retained Nepal as a secular state rejecting an amendment proposal to declare Nepal as a Hindu nation.
Pamphlets of Hindu Morcha were found in all three explosion sites.
Chief District Officer Tej Prasad Poudel said they were investigating the case to find the perpetrators behind the violence.
