A top official of NURTW who was at the meeting told our correspondent under condition of anonymity that the Lagos police boss was irked by the excesses of touts.
Apart from battering commercial mini – bus drivers and their bus assistants, touts forcefully collect un-receipted money from drivers in every motor park and bus stops.
Their activities led to their proscription, in 1999, when former military administrator, Colonel Mohammed Baba Marwa, jailed the adamant ones who refused to quit the parks.
