Manchester United: Club security officials checks hotel room for hidden listening devices before Liverpool game

 

United security team members were seen scanning the hotel rooms where players were stying before the Liverpool game

New photos have emerged which shows how meticulous Manchester United are when preparing for a game.

The photos show Manchester United security team scanning the hotel rooms of the Lowry Hotel in Manchester where players and staff of the club lodge before every home game.

These photos were taken on the night before Manchester United game against Liverpool.

The security team members were seen testing a room for listening devices before a team meeting involving manager Louis van Gaal, his assistant Ryan Giggs and other coaching staff.

 

According to Daily Mail, the practice of checking for devices around United's hotels has been in place since the David Moyes era in the 2013-14 season, when a voice recorder was found hidden in the former manager's team meeting by pranksters.

Since then, the club's security check behind curtains and under tables to make sure they are not listening devices around.

United won their game against Liverpool the following 3-1.
