PDP: Opposition party to ensure zero tolerance for corruption

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to hold a party reform conference as part of its efforts to reposition the party.

The statement reads in part:
“We are pleased to inform PDP supporters nationwide of the decision to convene a party reform conference to re-ignite the noble ideals and good image of the party, to restore the party’s core values, ensure zero tolerance for corruption and the promotion of transparency in governance, generate fresh ideas on people oriented programmes for ensuring good governance, balance development and human security with social justice, equity and fairness.”
Gana also revealed that a 40-man committee has been set up to ensure that the objectives of the conference, tagged “Power to the People”, are realized.
The committee will be inaugurated in Abuja on Tuesday, September 15, 2015.
