President Obama Roams Alaska With A Selfie Stick To Show Global Warming

The president of the United States, Barack Obama, has been spotted with a selfie stick and GoPro during his trip to Alaska. It was a three-day visit to the Alaskan Arctic with a view to highlight climate change issues.

The White House has been very busy documenting his adventure. In the selfie video Obama promises to “give you guys a little bit of a view of what it’s like out here.”

Global warming, he said, is occurring twice as fast in Alaska as in the bottom 48 states.

“We’ve been able to spend the day out here just learning more about how the glaciers are receding,” Obama says. “It’s a signpost of what’s happening with a changing climate. … This is worth preserving.”
