Pulse Nigeria Poll: Nigerians find Queen of England's half-nude painting disrespectful

The people have spoken on London-based street artist, Pegasus' half-nude painting of the Queen of England and they're not impressed.

According to votes by our readers, the saucy painting which was done in commemoration of festivities marking Queen Elizabeth's record as the longest-reigning British monarch, the painting was found to be in poor taste.
Incidentally it was a close call as 39% of the total votes cast were in favour of the painting's creativity, while 46% found it to be in bad taste and the remaining 15% of voters were indifferent.
Pegasus, who is a popular London street artist, revealed that the painting "took a little over two weeks, two days to draw, a day to cut and three hours to paint" , adding that he chose to do it because he wanted to honour the queen's beauty and also portray her in a way that she has never been seen before.
He clearly succeeded on portraying her differently but it doesn't seem to have struck a chord with the people.
Last Wednesday September 9th, Queen Elizabeth became the longest reigning British monarch surpassing the record set by her great-grandmother, Queen Victoria with a total of 23,226 days, 16 hours and 18 minutes - over 63 years, seven months and two days."
