Ambode’s Town Hall Meeting With Lagos Residents, Stakeholders In Pictures
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state on Tuesday, October 6, had his maiden town hall meeting with some residents of the state at Abesan Primary and Secondary School, Abesan Estate, Ipaja, Lagos.
Folarin Adeyemi, the permanent secretary ministry of information and strategy in a statement said the town hall meeting is in fulfillment of Governor Ambode’s campaign promise to duly engage Lagosians and chart a path where regular interactions will take place to tell residents of plans, policies and programmes of the government and encourage participatory governance.
Adeyemi also noted that the people being the bedrock of any society should be actively involved in governance, while emphasising that the present administration was a people-oriented government.

Stakeholders present at the town hall meeting include the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Lagos state deputy governor, Dr (Mrs) Idiat Oluwaranti Adegbure.
