Fresh Attacks And Ministerial Nominees: No Choice For Patriots, But Unite Under Buhari’s Govt – Nigerians
After a period of relative calm in Nigeria, the country seems to be facing the outbreak of Boko Haram insurgency. Upbraiding looks are directed at President Muhammadu Buhari.
The authorities are trying to persuade Nigerians that the military is gradually winning the war against Boko Haram insurgency. However, following multiple explosions in Abuja, and a series of other attacks in the northeast, people have become more sceptical about the ability of the new administration to deal with insurgency.
Based on messages being dropped in social media, people are experiencing depression and confusion in connection with the current development. Those who opposed Buhari’s candidacy in the presidential election now have become more doubtful about the army success. Those who supported the APC politician are also not satisfied with the security situation.
Some feel that it is not that Buhari is not trying to tackle terrorism, but that he does not know how.

After the ministerial list had been submitted to the Senate, disappointment reached the new level.
However, the concept of Change is still something anticipated and expected in the country, maybe with less enthusiasm (currently). And this concerns basically all the aspects.
Notably, the new wave of old challenges has expectedly brought comparisons of Buhari’s and Jonathan’s administrations.
We must nt allow Pres. Buhari be sing-praised into downfall just like the PDP did for Jonathan. Constructive criticism should be welcomed!

Jonathan was sing praised all the time till his downfall. We must not allow what happened with GEJ to repeat itself with Baba Buhari. — The Future Leader ® (@Future_Leader) October 7, 2015
We need to recommit ourselves to why we chased Jonathan & his thieving gang out in the 1st place: Nigeria’s sake. Not Buhari’s sake!

All the international media who raised hell under Jonathan over Boko Haram attacks have all gone to sleep under Buhari. Interesting times. — Ohimai Godwin Amaize (@MrFixNigeria) October 4, 2015
Former President Goodluck Jonathan has asked Nigerians to unite behind President Buhari against Boko Haram. Patriots have no other option.

When immediate communication is required, it seldom comes. That was the problem with Jonathan, now being repeated with Buhari. — Onye #2ndNigerBridge (@cchukudebelu) October 3, 2015
As bitter, though also wise, as it may sound, Nigerians say we all should unite under Buhari’s government and suggest constructive criticism, as we have no other choice.
What is also important though: nobody said we made the wrong choice in the elections, but maybe the noticeable Change we wait for is just around the corner.
