Is Radio Biafra Over Stepping It’s Boundaries?
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest by the Directorate of State Security (DSS) has drawn diverse opinions in Imo state.
According to Vanguard, some citizens were of the opinion that the pirate radio station was over-reaching its bounds, while some are commending Kanu for unearthing a number of things that were largely unknown to the public.
Okorie Uma Kalu, described Kanu who is the director of the radio biafra as “a freedom fighter”.
In his opinion, he said: “The arrest of the freedom fighter by operatives of the DSS, would rather strengthen the resolve of Ndigbo to continue angling for the Republic of Biafra”.

He urged the federal government not to tamper with Kalu’s cherished freedom, adding that it was best for the government to avoid doing anything that would heat up the polity.
Kalu further said: “The arrest of Mr. Kalu has not destroyed or dampened the spirit behind setting up of the radio station. The Biafran Radio is still on air and will continue to be on air, despite the harassment.”
He pleaded with the Ndigbo and all other tribes that constitute the Biafran dream state, to speak up now that the attack by the federal government has taken a new turn.
Meanwhile, Femi Fani-Kayode, the former spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to release the Director of pirate radio, Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
