Secret Hearing: Court Moves Ruling On Former NSA, Sambo Dasuki’s Case
A Federal High Court in Abuja has moved the ruling on the secret hearing of the case against former national security adviser Sambo Dasuki.
The court moved the ruling on the secret trial to November 2, a court clerk who spoke under the condition of anonymity told Naij.com.
The court clerk said the ruling was moved because the judge had a conference to attend and that the conference clashed with the case.
The federal government through its counsel Shuaib Labaran, filed a fresh charge against Dasuki, the counsel also asked the court to grant his request for a secret trial on the former NSA’s case.

He said it was important that witnesses from the Department of State Services (DSS) and other security agents wear face masks during hearing.
Also, the counsel sought that only few accredited journalists be allowed to cover the hearing.

But counsel to the defendant Joseph Daudu in his objection said he sees the case as harmless, noting that a secret trial in a democratic regime is unwarranted.
