Felabration 2015 is well underway with fans of the late Afro-beat legend trooping from every part of the world to celebrate his life and times.

The week long musical concert brought together Fela’s fans from around the world at the Afrikan Shrine, Ikeja Lagos.

Business was booming in and around the event centre as various businesses and petty traders took advantage of the huge crowd to make some money while enjoying themselves too.

Drinks, foods, snacks, candies, smokes were some of the more common commodities on sale.

However, brands that supported this year’s show gave out most of their products for free.

Naij.com spoke with Power Horse’s brand manager who talked about the energy drink’s partnership with the event organizer Asa well as the financial implication of giving out free drinks to the teeming crowd.

She said: “This is not the first time we are partnering it is an event we don’t like to miss we’ve been doing this or about three to four years now. The organisers are great friend of the company. The partnership is strong.

“The finance has nothing to do the partnership because it has been settled between the company and organizers. As we give the drinks we are also promoting them. We want everyone to know about our new product Kiss Miss which is an alcoholic drink with a blend of vodka a perfect drink for this kind of event.”
