TILB Sponsored Date: Let's Know Your Location, Guys

Gradually, gradually, our first TILB Date is taking shape. Yayyyyyy! lol.

Sorry I couldn't join the last discussion we had, reason being that I was at work, but I've read the comments and here are the final conclusions I got from our last discussion:

• INTEREST:

There was an upgrade this time. Readers think it's a great idea and not just that, they now can't wait to
see photos from our first couple's date. This is more than perfect!

• WHO & WHO WILL BE GOING ON THE DATES:

Final conclusions:

1. Only TILB readers with an identity will be going on our sponsored dates. Identity here means you comment regularly with your Google account. Click on these links to learn how to get a Google account and comment with it.
2. Our dates will be between two readers & group dates. 
3. A main reader will get nominated and he or she chooses who he or she goes on the date with. That means the meet dates can be between a male/female or male/male or female/female. 
4. We will also announce group dates for readers in particular locations.
5. Married readers are involved too. When you get nominated, you can pick someone of the same sex you want to go on the date with or you can also get picked.

• HOW WILL THE DATES BE RUN:

Our very first couple to go on a date will get N20,000 spending allowance. Each of you will be credited with N10k each.

You two will hook up and arrange a date at a public place like a restaurant with fancy meals and drinks. That will followed with an after meal fun treat that could be: going to watch a movie together, go play or watch a live game, visit a fun park, anything, something interesting to go do together.

You will send us pictures right from the second you start dressing at home. Clean photos along with comments about what's going on in your mind and what's happening in each pic.

Have it at the back of your mind that readers will finish you with yabs if you fcuk up. lol.

And then, your honest conclusion about the date and the person you finally met one on one after you two have parted and gone back to your various homes.

As soon as we conclude this thinking process and pick our couple. The money is already ready. I can't wait to do this, guys. I'm so excited to see our first couple.

• HOW OFTEN WILL THE TILB DATES HOLD?

Final conclusion: Every two months.

• HOW DO WE NOMINATE WHICH TILB READER GOES ON THE DATE FOR THE MONTH?

Thanks to TILB readers Anon 9:11, Tess and Esther Imaku for coming up with this process:

1. We will first put up a post asking anyone who will be interested to go on our dates to say so in the comments.
2. After that, I'll compile the names and open another post for elections with those names. This is to avoid wasting time. 
3. Everybody that indicated interest will be up for the voting process. Readers will choose who goes on the date. 
4. Readers will also vote using their Google account identities.

TILB reader Austin raised a very good question during a Whatsapp chat I had with him yesterday. He said:

'What happens if the person you want to meet lives in another state.''

How do you think we should handle that, guys?

While you are thinking of a solution, do this for me now. We need to know - what are your locations dearies?

Secondly, let's start choosing our first couple. Please if you are interested in being our first couple, kindly indicate that in your comments below along with your location.

If you are in Lagos, don't just say Lagos, say Lagos, Ketu; Lagos, Ikeja; Lagos, Victoria Island etc. If you are in Abuja, Enugu, Onitsha, Owerri, Portharcourt, Ota, anywhere, please indicate it in your comments below.
If you dey janded, yarn us too. We need to know so we can make plans.

Also indicate who you would love to meet. Irrespective of his or her location for now.

At the end of the day, I will compile the list of interested persons and we will put it up for a vote. At this point, readers will now tell us who among the interested people they would want to see most.

Whoever gets the highest vote will be on our first date definitely happening this month. Let's do this!
