Beverly Naya: Actress says she’s comfortable in her skin

Last year she began a campaign called #FiftyShadesofBlack to encourage young girls to love themselves.

"Before 30" actress Beverly Naya has shared she’s comfortable in her own skin. Naya posted an image of herself rocking her natural hair in a crop vest and short with the caption:

“Be comfortable with being yourself in a world where others find comfort in conforming”.

 

Last year she began a campaign called #FiftyShadesofBlack to encourage young girls to love themselves and be comfortable with being who they are.

Naya recently opened up to Pulse Nigeria about the kind of acting role she wouldn’t take on.

"A woman that just has sex all the time in a film and literally does nothing else… that's a role I will certainly turn down”, she said at the AFRIFF Gala night on November 14.

 

The actress currently stars in Africa Magic soap opera “Tinsel”. She has also been in several movies including “Weekend Gateaway”, “When Love Happens”, and “Brother’s Keeper”.
