VIDEO: Mikel, Martins Score From The Spot As Nigeria Get Ready To Battle Swaziland
The Super Eagles took turns to try out spot kicks ahead of the 4pm showdown (Nigeria time) today, November 17, against Swaziland in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
After a scoreless draw in faraway Lombamba, Swaziland in the first leg of the 2018 World cup qualifier tie, a repeat of such result after 120 minutes in Port Harcourt, means penalty shoot out will decide a winner.
Well informed about this, coach Sunday Oliseh has prepared his boys for a possible shootout as they took turns practicing their abilities at spot kicks at the Adokiye Amiesiamaka Stadium.

Seattle Sounders forward Obafemi Martins stole the show with unarguably the best penalty from six yards.
Unfortunately, there were varying degrees of success for the players as some couldn’t convert their spot kicks.
Goalkeepers Carl Ikeme and Ikechukwu Ezenwa rotated in trying to keep out the shots as Efe Ambrose, Elderson Echiejile, Obafemi Martins, John Obi Mikel, Moses Simon, and Sylvester Igbonu all took spot kicks.
However, both Ambrose and Igbonu missed from the spot.
The Swazis also practiced penalties after the Super Eagles had departed the pitch.
