We Were Scared Of Nigeria – Swaziland Coach

Swaziland coach Harries Bulunga has revealed that his team was scared of playing Nigeria in the 2018 world cup qualifying goalless draw.

  though the Super Eagles opponents had more chances to win the game.

The Swaziland coach told africanfootball.com that his team started the game in a fearful fashion but grew in confidence as the game wore on.

Analysing the game, he said Nigeria’s best chance came through set pieces.

He said:  “We were a bit scared of Nigeria at the start of the game but as the game wore on, we grew in confidence and that explained why we pushed out late in the game,” said Bulunga.

“Nigeria’s best chances were mostly from set pieces.

“We will now be hoping for a scored draw in Nigeria on Tuesday to advance in the competition, but honestly Nigeria have a 60-40 chance of beating us to the next round.”

The return leg of the 2018 FIFA world cup between Nigeria and Swaziland will be played on Tuesday, November 17 in Port-Harcourt.
