PHOTOS: Ex-Court Registrar To Spend 10 Years In Jail For Defrauding Gen. Bamaiyi Of $8,4 Million
A Former Lagos Court Registrar, Mrs. Rosulu Idowu Oluronke has been sentenced to 10 years behind bars for aiding Fred Ajudua to defraud a former Chief Of Army Staff, Ishaya Bamaiyi of $8,4 million
Mrs Oluronke was charged to court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for conspiracy and obtaining money under false pretence.
The former court registrar was alleged to have collected a sum of $330,000 from a former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General Ishaya Bamaiyi at the Kirikiri maximum prison, Lagos, where he was an awaiting trial inmate.

According to Bamaiyi, the money a was meant for a part payment for professional fees charged by Chief Afe Babalola (SAN) to handle his trail for attempted murder of the publisher of The Guardian, Alex Ibru and two others.

Fred Ajudua is a serial fraudster, in November 2014, a Lagos High Court in Ikeja freed and cleared Ajudua of a supposed $1.69m fraud accusation brought against him in 2003 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
