Stedman Bailey: Rams WR reportedly walking, talking after gunshots to head

According to TMZ, the athlete's agent has revealed that Bailey is walking, talking and on his way back to his old self.

St. Louis Rams WR, Stedman Bailey, has been reported to be making amazing progress, following his surgery for the gunshot wounds he survived.

According to TMZ, the athlete's agent has revealed that Bailey is walking, talking and on his way back to his old self.

Bailey was shot twice in the head, in a drive-by on Tuesday night at a Miami Gardens home, which is not far from his hometown.

There were reportedly three additional passengers in the vehicle, including two minors. 

Police are investigating the incident but have yet to identify a shooter.

Bailey, who is from South Florida, returned home as he serves a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy earlier in November.

Speaking with TMZ, Tony Fleming revealed that Bailey is out of the ICU although he is still hospitalized and reportedly recovering in a special physical therapy facility in Florida.

"He is getting his strength back and just taking it one day at a time. He is scheduled to be released out of the hospital on the 23rd."

Fleming goes on to tell of the extreme gratitude the 25-year-old has expressed for the support of his team ever since the shooting that took place on November 25, adding that several team officials have been by the hospital to visit.

Speaking on the teams reactions, Flemming says:

"The Rams are great. They have been talking to the doctors like once every few days staying on top of it."

Doctors have revealed that Bailey's has a very long and hard road ahead, with intense physical therapy schedule after he's released but Bailey is said to be determined to get back on the field some day.
