What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

Buying ‘Ragolis’ bottled water for the first bath of my son in the hospital because I was so excited.

What is your most embarrassing moment?

I was stretched out on the sofa with my legs wide apart at the University of Lagos. My roommate’s girlfriend came around and I noticed she was just smiling. It was later I realized my trouser was torn and my ‘Mandela’ was in the open.

What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever did on stage?

There was a time I was raising funds for an event with a reggae star, Bennie Man. I told the audience that if they could raise more than $100,000 that night I would jump into the pool. Eventually, they raised the money and I had to jump into the pool.

What was the naughtiest thing you did as a kid?

That would be the day when they sent me to grind pepper. On the way, I saw a field where some kids were playing football. I dropped the bucket and started playing. After some hours, I remembered the pepper but on getting to the spot I kept it, I couldn’t find the container. Then, I went home and told them that when I was walking on the road a bike ran into me and the pepper poured away, not knowing that they sent somebody to take the pepper and grind it.

Your advice for the new comers into the industry?

They should believe in themselves and put their trust in God because he is the creator of these amazing talents that we have around us today. There is also the need for them to persevere, especially in difficult times because such times will indeed come.
